I am doing this as a hobby and I like how cool I look when I am working. That was what made me develop interest though, all DJs just seem to look cool while operating their equipments.

There are directories online, you just have to search. The last time I discovered a worldwide radio that I like listening to till today, it was through a google search.

Welcome to the community Shortie. It’s good to have you here.

I'm curious to hear from anyone who has tried Ko-fi or a similar platform for supporting their website, forum, blog, or online community.

I've recently set up a Ko-fi page for Spark Promotion and would love to hear about other people's experiences.

A few questions to get the conversation started:

• Have you ever used Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, Patreon, or a similar platform?

• Did you find it worthwhile for your website or community?

• Have you received many donations or supporters, or has it been a slow process?

• Are there any alternatives you'd recommend?

• Do you have any tips for encouraging people to support your projects?

Here's our page if you'd like to check it out: https://ko-fi.com/Q3O8273CM1

I'm interested in hearing both the successes and the not-so-successful experiences. Every platform has its pros and cons, so it'd be great to learn from people who've actually tried them!

Have you given any of these platforms a go? How did it work out for you?

Root has a forum plugin now! I have to give it a try sometime with my Sonic server just to see how well it does compared to Discord’s forum feature. You can also create your own theme on Root now too completely free!

This is another platform I found while browsing Reddit. Looking at Neeka and this one, I wonder if they’re using similar programs to power the websites? Anyways I mentioned that a dark theme should be installed on the site to the creator. This platform reminds me more of Facebook than Reddit.

This is a very interesting platform I discovered this morning while browsing Reddit. Neeka is a Reddit alternative that has a unique approach on it’s algorithm, it’s meant to improve conversations between people with diverse opinions. I don’t know if I would join this one, since there’s some things that I know I won’t be able to agree to disagree with others on but I thought it was worth sharing here. If you wish to join here’s a link to join!

That sounds exciting. How many days?

This is actually really cool. The examples are great.

I’m here from the Gex forums so you can guess I like retrogaming. The newest game I’ve played with any degree of consistency is Minecraft lol.

Do you like to drink alcohol? What do you prefer? I love Vodka and cocktails.

Depends what you end up really wanted out of it.. right

All awesome features.
