Film Lovers is a new community that has deep roots stretching back two years. We're a community that prides ourselves on our passion for all things film and television.
Have you heard about this? Why is it all over social media? Well, that I can't answer. I can tell you it's a word game that is the current obsession for no apparent reason and I'm definitely addicted like everyone else.
Rules: You have 6 tries to guess the WORDLE. Each guess must be a valid 5 letter word. Hit the enter button to submit. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word.
Yellow = correct letter, wrong position Green = correct letter, right position
May 25, 2026 - Issues involving fashion, magazines, and the spoken or written word will all slowly begin to take a turn in a positive direction today, Libra. You may find that these things have been somewhat obscured lately, or at least their development has been more backward than forward. The good news is that the tide is turning. You should notice over the next few weeks that things are getting back on track.
Adam Sandler movies lately have been hit or miss; but, back in the 90's, a lot of his movies were comedy gold. So, which 90's Adam Sandler comedy was the best?
The OP will share a quote from a movie in its entirety. The next person will take a stab at trying to guess the movie. The first person to correctly guess the film's name will give the next quote and the process repeats.
Saw this game played on another community and thought it apt to our own. Basically, you share your age at the year of the release of the movie the previous poster lists. I'll give an example.
Poster #1: How old were you when The Dark Knight (2008) came into theaters? Poster #2: I was 18.
So, let's begin!
How old were you when The Lost Boys (1987) came out?

For Army Reserve Soldier Michael Cross, the world as he knew it ended in an instant. One minute, he’s in college, and the next, zombies are roaming the highway around him, breaking into cars, and tearing people apart. Join our survivors as they band together, fortify a safe haven known as the Tower, and discover that the Infected are far from the biggest threat in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, where the rules of human decency no longer apply.
Little food. Little water. Little hope. Who is lucky enough to say: “We’re Alive?”
This is a fun thread that's been passed around many different types of forums. If you don't know what it is, already, it's a thread that allows you to present music to others as well as expose yourself to different music. How do you accomplish this? First a person must post a song (usually on YouTube, but anywhere it can be easily heard on most computers is fine) and then the next poster must listen to that song. After writing in a decent response, that poster can put up a song and the process repeats itself. Before I begin, I'll lay down a couple of rules:
1. You must listen to the entire song. If you hate the music that's being posted so much that you can't get through it, then don't post next.
2. Only post intelligent responses. I don't want to hear simple one or two word responses like "Pretty good" or "That sucked". Don't be too thoughtlessly insulting or concise in commenting. Put some thought into your responses, please.
3. No offensive songs or videos. Remember, there are people of all ages browsing this forum, so we don't need any detailed descriptions of gang rape or anything.
4. No Rick Rolls or anything along those lines. It's not funny, nor was it ever funny. If you want someone to seriously rate the song, say so, but don't try using it as a lame joke or anything.
5. Follow forum rules in general. If that wasn't obvious enough, that is.
This awesome website does a wonderful job of compiling a list of songs from various TV shows, movies and the like. They usually even have a description of the scene in the movie or episode of the show that it corresponds with.
Grotesque, Godzilla-like monsters called "kaijuu" have been appearing around Japan for many years. To combat these beasts, an elite military unit known as the Defense Corps risks their lives daily to protect civilians. Once a creature is killed, "sweepers"—working under the Professional Kaijuu Cleaner Corporation—are left to dispose of its remains. Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man, is unsatisfied with his job as a sweeper. From a young age, he has aspired to join the Defense Corps and kill kaijuus for a living. After a few failed attempts, however, he gave up on his dreams and resigned himself to the mediocrity that provided a decent paycheck. Nevertheless, when an ambitious, 18-year-old recruit named Leno Ichikawa joins his cleaning team, Kafka is once again reminded of his desire to join the military. Following a chain of unfortunate events and an interaction with the junior sweeper, Kafka encounters a parasite-type kaijuu that forces its way in through his mouth—turning him into a humanoid monster. With his newfound powers, Kafka aims to give his lifelong dream a final try.
Naruto Uzumaki, a mischievous adolescent ninja, struggles as he searches for recognition and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the village's leader and strongest ninja.
