Cats and dogs are two animals that are the most popular when it comes to people keeping pets. Not only are they both good companions, but they make great pets too.

I personally prefer cats, as I have a busy life and don’t feel I would be able to tend to a dog, since they need to be walked a few times a day, and I don’t feel that would be fair.

When it comes to either a cat or a dog, which would you prefer to own as a pet? What would be your reason for this choice?

I have 3 dogs… A Chiwawa called Kahlua, a husky called Neo and a Pomsky called Bailey. Bailey is the baby of the family at 2 years old lol.

I always remember when I was younger, I had a few friends who had horses at stables that their parents had bought for them. It was a big thing to have a horse of your own back when I was younger, and to learn to ride it, but I don’t hear much about it now.

If you could have any animal as a pet, even one that wouldn't normally be a pet, what would you choose?

I'd probably choose a meerkat because I've always loved them. Although if we're allowed to pick mythical animals, a unicorn would be pretty hard to beat!

Do you have any pets that keep you company or get up to mischief around the house?

My parents have two small adult dogs called Chloe and Lily. They're both lovely little companions, and it's always fun having dogs around.
