Otaku Valley

What are your thoughts?

Is Riboku the most tragic character? Discuss the frustration of being the smartest man in the room but being constantly held back by a corrupt and incompetent royal court.

Evaluate the other monarchs (The King of Qi, the Pedo-King of Zhao, etc.). Who, besides Sei, actually had the best interests of their people at heart?

Was Ryofui actually right? Discuss his philosophy of "governing through wealth" versus Sei’s "governing through law." Which would have been more sustainable for China?

Aside from the "Monster Trio" (Shin, Ouhon, Mouten), which young commanders have the potential to reach the 6 Great General level? (e.g., Kanki’s leftovers, Futei, or the Archer Bros).

At this point in the manga, where does Shin actually rank among the world's strongest? Could he take on a Great General in a pure 1v1 without "main character" plot armor?

Track the progress of the unit from 100 men to a massive army. Who is the MVP of the supporting cast (En, Sosui, Denyuu, etc.)?

A dedicated space for those who have read the history books to discuss which characters are currently living on "borrowed time."

In the manga, Sei is a visionary seeking to end war. Historically, he is often remembered as a ruthless legalist. Discuss whether the manga's "Unification for Peace" narrative justifies the blood spilled.

Yasuhisa Hara portrays Kanki as a dark hero/villain hybrid. How does this compare to his historical counterpart? Are you satisfied with how Hara handled his backstory?

You have a budget of 100,000 soldiers. Pick one "Instinctual" commander and one "Strategic" advisor from the series to lead them. Why that combo?

Which maneuver was more impressive: Ousen’s "Locust" strategy at Gyou, or Kanki’s psychological warfare against Keisha at Kokuyou Hills?

If you pitted the original Qin 6 against the original Zhao 3 in an even-terrain war, who would come out on top?

What does "weight" actually mean in the series? Is it a psychological advantage, or is it a tangible physical force? Discuss which character possesses the most "weight" outside of the obvious choices like Ouki or Renpa.
