We all have those films that no matter how much we try, we just can't stomach to finish, whether it be because of the obscene portrayals of the darker side of humanity or simply because the film turns out to be a dud. What was the last film that happened to you with?
For me, it was Maneater (2022). The special effects, the dialogue, just everything was blah. I gave it a fair try and had to stop after about 30 minutes or so.
Hello,
Welcome to the Book Club! We're aiming to create an engaging social group of individual's whose goal is to select a book each month and read, as and when you're able to within your busy life schedules, before partaking in discussions in and around the book and sharing any sort of influences it might have or could have upon you as an individual and a member of society.
Because this is a club, we ask that those of you interested in participating go through a simple process of making your willingness to participate known through replying to this thread and filling out the application following below;
Name:
Favorite Genre(s):
Favorite Author(s):
What you hope to gain from the club?:
How often could you participate?:
If you feel uncomfortable about answering any of the questions above, please don't force yourself to do so! We will not hold it against you. Though we do ask that you try to state what you hope to gain from the club so that we, the staff/leader(s) of the club can better gear the way it operates/functions to help accomplish this task!
Thank you and I look forward to reading with you!
