This is a fun thread that's been passed around many different types of forums. If you don't know what it is, already, it's a thread that allows you to present music to others as well as expose yourself to different music. How do you accomplish this? First a person must post a song (usually on YouTube, but anywhere it can be easily heard on most computers is fine) and then the next poster must listen to that song. After writing in a decent response, that poster can put up a song and the process repeats itself. Before I begin, I'll lay down a couple of rules:

1. You must listen to the entire song. If you hate the music that's being posted so much that you can't get through it, then don't post next.

2. Only post intelligent responses. I don't want to hear simple one or two word responses like "Pretty good" or "That sucked". Don't be too thoughtlessly insulting or concise in commenting. Put some thought into your responses, please.

3. No offensive songs or videos. Remember, there are people of all ages browsing this forum, so we don't need any detailed descriptions of gang rape or anything.

4. No Rick Rolls or anything along those lines. It's not funny, nor was it ever funny. If you want someone to seriously rate the song, say so, but don't try using it as a lame joke or anything.

5. Follow forum rules in general. If that wasn't obvious enough, that is.

Now, let's begin! I hope this takes off here:

It began with “We’re Alive: A Story of Survival”…

For Army Reserve Soldier Michael Cross, the world as he knew it ended in an instant. One minute, he’s in college, and the next, zombies are roaming the highway around him, breaking into cars, and tearing people apart. Join our survivors as they band together, fortify a safe haven known as the Tower, and discover that the Infected are far from the biggest threat in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, where the rules of human decency no longer apply.

Little food. Little water. Little hope. Who is lucky enough to say: “We’re Alive?”

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THE MOMENT IS NOW, THE TIME IS NIGH, THE ULTIMATE BATTLE BETWEEN THE SEXES IS HERE!!

We're going to do this the proper way this time! We're going to start with the number 500. Women are going to count up with the goal of hitting 1,000 and men are going to count down with the goal of hitting 0. First to reach their goal wins and we start a new thread.

So to show it in an example:

Starting number 500.

Johnny posts next -1 = 499

Jill posts next +1 = 500

Got it?

Good!

Here...

We...

Go....

Please use this thread to request labels for threads.

Labels are an easy way to help differentiate between thread types or subject discussion matter.

This thread is for you to post what's on your mind at the moment. You want to share a thought? Post a statement? Got something on your mind you just want to voice?

I'm planning to run some errands and begin packing for my two week vacation.

This thread will be updated with a running list of FAQ as they arise.

1.) I'm having issues with uploading an avatar, I keep getting an error.

The software requires that not only does the avatar you wish to use meet the no larger than file requirement but that it also be no larger in dimensions than 400x400px.

Keep it from delving too private and I'll probably answer.

Thought I'd make a thread where we can discuss and share thoughts on books in each other's list without clogging up the original list thread.

Basically, we as a community try to take a stab at what film comes out on top in the upcoming weekend gross earnings.

The films in theaters this weekend are:

• The Odyssey

• Moana

• Minions & Monsters

• Toy Story 5

• Hadestown

• Evil Dead Burn

• Young Washington

• Obsession

• Supergirl

• Disclosure Day

• Bad Counselors

• Scary Movie

A man's supernatural journey to face his past, present and future and fight for a second chance.

Take a moment and vent here, no one will judge you.

Instead of creating a new thread for every instance where I tweak the layout slightly, I'm going to just post a reply in this thread with the corresponding change and a small blurb about why.
