Saw that this started back up again and it gives such a nostalgic feel that i had to join up to keep up with this project. Hope everyone has been living their life to the fullest since we last spoke. ^_^
Hey everyone, how's it going? :)
Hello everyone. I saw on some forum that you are offering free hosting + free software and I liked how it looks like, so I decided to give it a try. AP seems to be very simple to navigate through, so that's a good thing. ^_^
You all know Cory from various communities, starting on the Zathyus Networks (InvisionFree/ZetaBoards) platform. I've been using forums for over two decades. The first forum I created was on the InvisionFree platform, which I later converted to ZetaBoards. I've also used ProBoards for a short period and currently use Jcink. As you can see, I've always used non-self-hosted forum software because I don't like spending much money on a hobby I can do freely.
My board on Jcink is for Jcink forum resources. Once I become more acquainted with ForumSpark, I may consider creating a resource board on this platform. I know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Aside from message boards/coding, my hobbies include listening to music (mainly hard rock and metal), playing video games such as Pokemon GO and Call of Duty, fantasy media such as The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, and collecting Yu-Gi-Oh TCG cards.
I have been around a lot of forums for a very long time, it's great seeing so many familiar names already. Thought I would finally post and say Hello to All.
Yes, it's me, Bryn... :D
Not much else to say, other than to wish both Cedric and Jamie luck in this exciting new project 8)
Hey I'm Ravenfreak a 34 year old guy who loves forums! As someone who loved Zetaboards when it was still online I had to join ForumSpark since it is heavily inspired by the platform! I'm happy that the project is back up and running again and I look forward to seeing ForumSpark becoming one of the best free forum platforms online!
Howdy everyone,
Shawn here. Been running forums for a long time. I have a few of them, all of which are self-hosted. But I really like the idea of this site, so I made a forum with it and will play around with it.
A bit about me: a 40-year-old married guy from Illinois (USA). I work in investigations. I'm an avid outdoorsman, and I love forums and blogging.
Hey
Hulk here. I joined to see what this is all about! :)
At ForumSpark, we believe community starts with connection. This Introductions forum isn’t just a place to say a quick hello - it’s your space to share who you are, what brought you here, and your vision for building or managing a community. Among the countless faceless users on the internet, this is your chance to stand out and connect with others who share your passions and interests.
So whether you’re a brand-new board owner, a seasoned community manager, or someone who’s been with us since the start, we’re excited to have you here.
To help you kick things off, our staff members have shared their own introduction topics. Feel free to use these as inspiration when creating your own. Make your topic your own by sharing as much - or as little - as you’re comfortable with, all within the boundaries of our board rules.
Guidelines for Posting
To keep the Introductions forum welcoming and organized, please follow these guidelines:
Be respectful: Treat all members with courtesy and kindness. If you notice any inappropriate behavior, use the Report button to alert our team.
One topic per user: Please keep a single introduction topic for yourself. If multiple topics are created, they may be combined by staff.
Board sharing: You’re welcome to share your FS board link and talk about events or updates happening on your board in your introduction topic. For frequent events (e.g., weekly or daily), please limit updates to once every seven days to avoid bumping and spam.
Adherence to rules: All content must comply with ForumSpark’s Board Rules, Terms of Use, and Terms of Service. Content that violates these policies may be edited or removed at staff discretion.
We’re excited to get to know you better and see the unique communities you’re building!
Welcome to ForumSpark, and here’s to a bright future together. :)
