You don't need to host anything yourself, and their moderation isn't as strict as YouTube's. Odysee believes in freedom of speech, and it's also part of the LBRY Blockchain so if you're wanting to earn some cryptocurrency while uploading videos Odysee is a good place to do so. I've used it a little bit, you used to be able to pull your YouTube videos over without having to reupload everything but unfortunately this feature has been removed. Odysee is also new, it's only 6 years old so it's definitely not as active as YouTube but still has a good audience. Have you checked this platform out yet?

I know Odysee even though I do not have an account yet. I am quite interested in using this platform because of their crypto payment. I might try this platform one of these days.

I love Odysee. It was nice when you could upload your videos to your Youtube channel and it would automatically be posted to your Odysee account but of course Youtube had to take that feature away. It just made it easier to get my videos uploaded to multiple platforms.
