I need some new indoor workouts that don't bore me! On nice days, I go out hiking but on bad days or when the air quality is not good to be outside, I need something to keep me interested in doing and actually be a challenge without making me want to take a nap after.

You should look into body weight exercises. I downloaded this app that's based on an anime training regimen. I thought it would be great until I told it I was a beginner and it had me doing intermediate and advanced level workouts.
I switched to 100 push ups, crunches and squats. Gonna do sets until failure.

I avoid some of those exercises because they would make some parts of my body take on pain with inflammation. Squats would totally wreck my knees, and right now they're finally healed after the years of cycling I did and caused some damage.

Sounds like you should look into those swim aerobics classes.

If it's a salt water pool, I'd be up for it. It's hard to breathe around chlorinated pools.
I can understand that, wish there were more salt water pools.

I've only ever been in them at hotels! They're pretty cool and it's so easy to breathe and not have sinus issues either.
I used to have an in-ground pool and wow, I had so many struggles and didn't know it was from the chlorine until we moved.

Why do you no longer have an in-ground pool?
