Is releasing an entire season at once better than weekly episodes?

E eLdavis · 1 week ago · 4 replies · 45

There's something satisfying about having an entire season available at once, especially when a show is so good that you can't wait to find out what happens next. But weekly releases have their own charm because they give fans time to discuss theories, debate episodes, and build excitement between releases. Sometimes, dropping everything at once also means a show dominates conversations for just a few days before everyone moves on.

Which do you prefer: getting an entire season at once so you can binge-watch, or waiting for weekly episodes that keep the excitement going longer?

In as much as human nature do kick in where we want to quickly see the end of a thing I still prefer weekly releases. I don't like once at ago. The excitement of waiting for the next episode would just wane off almost immediately the last scene is soon. I love to add fun and a longer excitement to mine.

Binge-watching is very convenient but weekly episodes would help to build anticipation and that's the key to getting people engaged. But wth the cost of data, bingeing can be very expensive.

Yeah, but some fun getting comes at a cost. So if you want to enjoy yourself as life sometimes might be very boring.then you just have to pay the cost of getting this frenzy. I used to like the build up to new releases and that is the fun in it.

I like to watch a few episodes a day—at most one or two per series. Sometimes I’ll watch one episode of one show and then another from a different one, but I don’t like watching many episodes in a row. If I watch for too long, I stop paying attention, and I prefer to enjoy each episode by giving it my full focus. That’s why I keep my daily viewing to just a few episodes; I really don’t like binge-watching, and certainly not an entire season at once. There’s so much happening in every episode that your mind eventually stops attaching importance to what it’s seeing, so, to me, watching that much in such a short time just doesn’t make any sense.
