Are streaming platforms cancelling too many shows before they find their audience?

It’s frustrating to get invested in a new series, start caring about the characters, and then discover it has been cancelled after just one or two seasons. Some shows need time to build an audience, but streaming platforms often seem more interested in quick viewing numbers than giving stories room to grow. The result is that viewers are left with unanswered questions and unfinished storylines.

Do you think streaming platforms are cancelling shows too quickly, or should a series be cancelled if it doesn't attract enough viewers early on?

Yes, I think so! They have cancelled shows before the second season many times. Some shows need time to build an audience. They should give shows a chance to grow before they cancel them prematurely.

I have noticed same as they do not want to waste time at all with series or shows that isn't giving them the massive audiences they had envisaged. But the way out is to keep them.for a while and hope that they pick up gradually than cancelling without giving it enough time.

It’s disrespectful to all of us when they remove series or movies; it costs them nothing to keep them online. It’s a truly stupid idea to take them down—it’s not as if they have limited space. Space is infinite; they could include every movie and series in the world if they wanted to. The only result of this is that people end up turning to piracy.
