Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day?

E eLdavis · 3 days ago · 2 replies · 19

Some people believe breakfast is essential because it gives the body energy to start the day, while others prefer skipping it and having their first meal later. With different eating habits and lifestyles, the importance of breakfast is still widely debated.

Do you think breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day, or can someone stay healthy and productive without eating it?

It depends entirely on the individual. For me, it’s not; the most important meal of the day is lunch or dinner, not breakfast. As I said, this really depends 100% on the person—their diet and their lifestyle—and it even depends on their culture and the country where they live, since not everyone eats at the same time or in the same way.

Well, for me I have always seen breakfast as the first meal of the day. We had stayed away from food throughout the night we slept. So waking up and taking food after that long break makes it the most essential time and the first meal for a brand new day. I believe that is why it is called breakfast. You kind of break the fast for not eating the whole night.
