I don't touch my car, I leave it to the mechanics. But you have to find a trustworthy mechanic because here, some of them are scams. You could end up spending more. Anyways, that's not peculiar to my country, scammers are everywhere.
At the moment, I don’t have a car, but I have been taking lessons to learn to drive and will be getting my own car once I finally pass my test.
One thing I know for sure is that I won’t be trying to fix anything myself on my car should anything happen or go wrong, and will instead go to a professional mechanic who will be able to fix things for me. I have no clue about cars at all other than how to drive them and do things I should know as an owner and driver of a car.

That's indeed a smart move. Cars are not like other things that you can Google and fix. If you mess it up, it can cost you the engine or other failures. Consulting a professional mechanic is the way out.
It depends, if it's something I can manage and fix myself, I will do that, but if it's a technical issue, I am going to leave it for the professionals
