On the road

So me an the wife have our own business selling products we make at all the renaissance fairs all up and down the west coast of the us and even into the central states as far as Texas. We are currently in Las Vegas for a show this weekend. Then we move to Tucson Arizona. We are on the road for another 6 weeks then we go home for a few weeks and then head to Texas for 5 weeks. I have full computer system in our Motorhome that we travel in lol so I still get to be online… What do you do for a living? Do you travel for work at times?

That’s a great line of work; the real upside is that you get to travel everywhere and visit all the nearby states—it sounds like a lot of fun. I currently work online as a freelancer, so we’re in a similar boat, though my situation is a bit more convenient: wherever I go, I just need my laptop—that’s all it takes, plus an internet connection, lol.

That kind of lifestyle is very interesting. In my home country, we don't have a motorhome culture, but I want to experience one someday. So for me, I work online and I have a mini supermarket. Recently, I added a patent medicine store by the side too. Everything is in one place.

My Motorhome 🙂 We travel from the start of April until the end of November. Then we are off until the following April again. But this year we are going to a 5 week event in Texas that will last through Christmas and New Years.

I can imagine the culture in Nigeria is much different mate but you have an excellent business of your own

I am still struggling with it. To fully enjoy that kind of business, you need more capital. That's what is lacking at the moment. It's not been easy bro!

At the moment, I mostly work from home, so I don't have to worry about traveling from one place to another, but I do enjoy traveling. I'mm a graphic designer trying to build a brand for myself.

That is an awesome line of work @Rogue, and it must be great getting to go to many different places 🙂 The motorhome looks awesome!

I work from home at the moment, and none of my work involves having to travel, but I do still travel from time to time when I have the chance to, usually when I have a break from work 🙂

Right now, I’m selling fairly use items on campuses, such as cloths and shoes to students, sometimes I travel from one campus to another, the business is very stressful, I need some capital to expand the business, I also need a vehicle to operate the business successfully.
