Oh man, that’s a tough one. I generally collect for meta decks, which the most valuable on those decks are around ~100-200 USD depending on the rarity.

I do have one grail though that I bought back in 2020-2021, which is the Blue-Eyes White Dragon 2018-JPP01 World Championship card. It’s not graded, so it’s probably worth around ~600-900 USD ish.

That’s a nice one!

I did own the DDS Blue-Eyes White Dragon once or twice, but it’s long gone now. I foolishly traded it away when I was a teenager.

Lately I’ve been playing Branded. Not the most meta deck, but it’s consistently been in the meta over the last 3 years.

Absolutely not. I hate horror movies. Back whenever I was a sophomore in high school, I went to see a scary movie with a girl that I was “talking” to, needless to say I walked out of the movie and we went and watched something else. It’s not that I’m scared, I’m just not a fan of gore/disgusting things.

I do occasionally but it’s not my typical sport of choice. I usually only watch Premier/La Liga.

Tough to learn but once you get used to it, it isn’t bad.

I do own Pokémon cards but not much of a collector anymore. Scalpers have ruined the fun. I still have my Ancient Mew card from the 2001 movie.

I have, I personally used TCGPlayer for my shop and shipped out easily 1k+ cards across the US. 🙂

I think at some point things get stale, synchro is fine imo, same with links, but pendulum is pretty bad

Locals have typically seasoned players so time typically isn’t an issue. If there’s someone newer though, judges will typically hurry them up. It’s also common to tell your opponent to hurry it up and if they don’t the judge typically gets involved.
