I have been a music lover ever since I can remember, and as much as you still get good music, I find that a lot of the music that is released nowadays does not always have meaning, or you can tell it was just music that was released because they had an idea and recorded it.
Do you feel music today is as good as it used to be?
I said it the other day that music videos especially has become something else entirely. They can not seem to make one without featuring nudity, drugs, alcoholism etc. It was surely not like this some decades ago.
Sometimes, yes; currently, Letterboxd and IMDb are where I usually post my reviews.
I don't know o. But I actually grew up in an era where music used to be very deep. If you listen to a song, it would evoke deep thoughts running through your mind. But now, music has become some shallow. Music is more of vibes now than substance.
I am not a fan of modern music, I mostly listen to the music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. I don’t think there are any artists or bans that could create music like the artists and bands from those eras. Having said that some artists are still good. For instance, I very much like Adele’s music
