We governments around the world pushing for electric vehicles but a large percentage of consumers aren’t much interested in in electric vehicles and the future of electric vehicles still looks bleak. One main reason is the price. Electric vehicles run on batteries made of rare minerals, and these minerals are not easily available everywhere. Even if you charge the battery using cheap solar energy, the battery itself is expensive. Therefore, manufacturing costs of electric bikes, cars, or any electric vehicle are unlikely to drop significantly unless battery technology becomes cheaper.
