AI can now create realistic images, videos, music, articles, and even voices that can be difficult to distinguish from human-made content. As AI becomes more common, should people always be told when something was created or heavily modified by AI?

I really love how Meta is approaching content creation with AI. On its platforms any AI content is clearly labeled or else you risk losing your account. That is exactly how it should be. Let people know when your content is AI to avoid unnecessary confusion.
I think if you’re providing a service for someone or sharing software with someone that was vibe coded I think you should let people know it was made with AI. As for graphics, you can usually tell if it’s AI generated or not as most images have a glossy look to them. I don’t think you need to let people know you’re using AI if you’re using it to make a banner for your forum or a theme for your forum since you’re the one using it.
I don't know—I'd recommend using AI to do the research and then writing the post in your own words, because content that's 100% AI-generated is useless.
I am a firm believer that with AI, it should be made clear that something was made with AI.
If you are someone who is working for someone, and you create something they have hired you for using AI, I feel they have a right to know that beforehand so they are aware of what they are getting.
Videos are a big one for me, and I feel more needs to be done to ensure that AI videos are labelled, as they seem to be causing the biggest issue right now in the internet world.
Yes, AI content should always be clearly labeled. As technology advances, telling the difference between real and generated media is getting almost impossible. Transparency prevents misinformation, protects artists' intellectual property, and ensures people know what they are engaging with online. It maintains trust in creative industries and media without slowing down technological innovation.
I think that it is very important for AI Generated Contents or Assisted contents to be labelled as such. It borders on integrity not to generate something with AI and make it seem like you made it from scratch.
Yes, in fact, this is something that’s been happening a lot on YouTube and TikTok; it should clearly always be labeled, because some videos look so real that people might assume they’re genuine rather than AI-generated.
