Have you ever worked for a client who refused to pay you?

H Henry · 6 months ago · 5 replies · 411

I know a lot of freelancers must have had different experiences in their online working history. The issue of clients being toxic or, in some cases, being very happy with your work. However, how have you handled a situation where you worked for a client and they didn't pay you at the end of the day?

Some Forum owners have disappeared eg Bubblews. It was a Site where one earned good but suddenly the Site owners stopped paying and disappeared.

Unfortunately, there are many freelancers who have faced this problem. ☹️ There are so many people who do not get paid for hit hardwork. It seems like there should be an escrow service when it comes to freelancing business. Many platforms use escrow services in order to make sure people are paid fairly.

This is every freelancer's nightmare. It has happened to me many times. So, to prevent things like that, you need to protect yourself by collecting upfront payment or using escrow services.
