I do visit my relatives sometimes. However, I am a really shy person. I visit relatives from my maternal sides more often. Visiting relatives is a good thing and it strengthens family bonds in many ways. So, do you visit relatives?
I used to see my mum and dad as much as I could, but I was always cautious with my dad being so unwell and my mum ending up with stage 4 terminal cancer. Unfortunately, I lost my dad in July of last year, and my mum in January of this year, but I am very glad of the time I got to spend with them.
I see my other relatives, such as my brothers, auntie and grandma, as much as I can and know that life is way too short.

@Shortie - So sad to hear about loss of your mother and dad😢😢☹️☹️ Please accept my condolences🌹💕💝♥️. Yes, life is too short, and I think that we should spend time with our loved ones. We really miss them once they are gone. Unfortunately, nowadays many people do not spend much time with their relatives and this is a serious problem. It is a good idea to spend time with relatives at least once a week.

This is very true. I spent as much time with mine as possible, but even though I did, there are still things I wish I could have done with them before they passed.
Sadly, so many do not spend as much time as they can with relatives, and all too often, it results in regret.

I have heard that in olden days people used to spend a lots of time with relatives. This is true. In the past my family used to meet with relatives a lot. However, now things have changed a lot. I think people are now busy with their lives and this is one of the main reasons why people do not meet with their relatives too often.

This is very true, and with the rising cost of living as well, many people are instead ending up working more and not finding the time to spend with relatives like they used to.
We live 12 hours away from our relatives, so we don't see them very often. We try to drive out to see my dad, my sister and her children once a year, sometimes twice and they come to visit once yearly. It's really not enough :(

Living too far away from relatives could be a really disheartening thing. If you live too far away from relatives, then it may be a really hard thing for you to visit them. Perhaps visiti g them at least once a month might be the best solution.
In my younger days I did specially when we lived in the city where we have many relatives living there We have now shifted to a semi rural town not with many relatives living there.
Visiting anyway has become rare as it is now more the virtual world than the real world. We have not seen each other for years

My relatives live in the same city as we live in. However, many relatives do not see each other because many of them are quite busy with their lives. I can understand that. However, it is always important to meet your relatives sometimes on weekends. This can strengthen family ties.

The GenZ in particular will only meet at functions and events and they disappear not getting back even virtually to talk about the event thereafter
I am close with only a few of my relatives but even those ones live very far away. So apart from my immediate family I don’t visit them as much, maybe just once in a few years. I constantly visit my family though.
I try to visit my mom at least once a month, or lately, once a quarter. She lives a few hours north of me, though.
To say the real truth I cant really remember the last time I visited my siblings because some of them stay very far from me and the few that are here,I lack sufficient time to do just this.
