What are some of the best ways to improve grammar?

I used to struggle with grammar a lot. However, I started learning grammar and this was a great way to improve my writing skills. As of now, I use AI to learn grammar. However, AI cannot replace a real grammar teacher. What do you think?

I learned better grammar by reading classical books when I was a child. The more you're introduced to proper English, the more you'll retain it and be able to use it.

Where I used to live, it was common in our dialect to say "There's" instead of "There are" and I often stop myself from making the mistake, but sometimes when I'm speaking too quickly, it slips out.

I learned grammar when there was no AI. I used to ask a native a English speaker about how I could improve my grammar. I started writing basic sentences. Gradually I started writing some difficult sentences. This is how I learned English grammar step by step. However, now we have AI and AI has changed things a lot.

I have learned to improve my grammar over the years, not only when I was in school and college, but also through my line of work as a freelance writer and using tools such as Grammarly has helped a great deal when it comes to grammar.

I still feel like I have so much to learn still but I am happy with how much my grammar has improved over the years.

Using tools like Grammarly and Quillbot can certainly help a lot. You can also use AI tools to learn grammar. In the past, I used to take assistance from English teachers to learn grammar. Attending English classes can also help a lot when it comes to learning grammar and punctuation. I use DeepSeek to learn grammar.

And as far as I know, there are only two ways: the first is by reading, so you learn how to spell the words correctly; and the second is by writing. I can't think of any better ways than these, and they seem to be the only two legitimate paths.

Here in India we get a good grounding at the school level. I remember following the grammar book by Wren and Martin.

Being in contact with those with a good command of the language and watching anchors on TV who speak well is where I get exposed.

Lately I have been using ChatGPT in order to learn English grammar. ChatGPT can help a lot when it comes to learning English grammar and this tool helps you learn punctuation and tenses in the best possible manner.

I use a service called Grammarly. I’m actually an ambassador for it. I think I was one of the first 10 or so when they launched that program.

But I pay attention to what the service corrects, learn from it, and then I try to do it when I’m writing so that I have fewer issues.
