Can apples actually help you to slow down ageing?

Apples are rich in compounds such as quercetin and catechin. According to some findings, these compounds can help you slow down ageing in many different ways. These compounds could target muscle tissues and help slow down ageing through senescent cell clearance. What are your thoughts about this?

He's completely unaware of that function of apples, I don't think so. If that were the case, then Steve Jobs would have been the youngest person in the world when he was alive, right? I say this because he loved apples and ate a lot of them all the time.

Apples cannot completely reverse ageing. Moreover, apple as a whole does not benefit you entirely. It is the apple peel that contains the highest amount of nutrients. Some rat studies have shown that apple peel could reverse DNA damage and repair DNA to some extent.

Much water has flown down the bridge since the coining of that cliched statement 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away' If that were true we would have no pharmacies around 😄

I think that apples do keep you healthy. However, just eating apples alone would not keep you healthy. A person cannot be healthy while eating an apple and smoking cigarettes at the same time. Our overall lifestyle matters a lot.
