I think that this depends a lot on the kind of property. Many companies never buy warehouses, they rather pay rent and gain access to those warehouses. If the property is located at a great location, then it would make sense to buy such kind of property. So, what do you think?
For a new business, renting is best because most new businesses don't last beyond 5 years. Some don't even make it a year!
For a home, buying is generally preferable and that's because you can build equity. Even with having to do home improvements, we'll still make a good profit when we sell our house as opposed to if we had rented.

Well, there are many problems. If a business gets established, then the landlord may tell the tenant to leave the property. Under such kind of circumstances, what will the tenant do? This is one of the main reasons why many businessmen tend to buy property instead of renting them out. They may not want to leave an established business.

That does happen a lot, where the landlord tells the business tenant to leave. It's usually so they can raise the prices for rent or they want to sell the building. There are many businesses that decide to move elsewhere and sometimes they do better business than before.
It would depend, I feel, whether you were an established business or just starting out. For a business that is just starting out, it would make more sense to rent rather than buy, as you never know what could happen further down the line. Buying is something to consider once your business starts to see gains.

There are many business owners who actually buy the property they were renting after their business gets established. They make a good offer to the owner. In some cases, the owner may agree to sell the property. However, not all the property owners are willing to sell their property to their tenants.
Depends on what items one talks about here. If it is a house owning one would be a good idea in the long term but if it is for sleeping arrangements for a host of guests then surely renting out bedding seems a good idea.
Renting is never better than buying,because when you rent something its temporary but if you buy anything it will become your own personal property in the rest of your life circle even your children can come and use it.
This depends entirely on the location and the business. For a short term needs, renting gives you the flexibility without tying down your capital into assets. But for personal residential, building your own house gives you peace of mind against crazy house agents.
For me these two depends on the duration I need a thing for. If I need a gadget or a device for a short time turn renting it is better but anything long period it is better to buy it for personal future use
I don't think renting is better on principle - everybody should have access to housing. No matter how rich or poor. The sheer existence of renting suggests that it is only available to some.
Now I do live in the real world where this isn't the case, so let's go over my thoughts.
I think for most people, buying is better if you can. The main exception is if your only motivation is money and maximising profit, then renting will leave you on top, BUT ONLY IF you put all the money you would put into a house into a decent investment fund. And even then, okay, you're 70, take your money out but what are you going to do with all that money now?
However, there's more to buying than just the asset. You also get the security and piece of mind that this is your space that you can do what you like with. Nobody can evict you on a whim! Yes, you have to do home maintenance but that's the price you pay to have your own stuff. It's not like landlords were going out of their way to maintain it either (unless required by legislation, and even then…) The stability is good when raising children as well.
There isn't a lot of people buying in New Zealand these days. More people rent here.
I don't think any of these is better in all cases. It all depends on your stay in a particular place then renting is better bcause it has lower upfront costs especially if you move soon. In case if you have to stay several years, can afford you should buy or build your own home.
Well, the answer is subjective. If you live in the city, rent is not advisable because the landlords here will frustrate you with rent increments every year. So, having your own house is better.
