How do you listen to your music?

Do you like streaming music on Spotify, or perhaps you download MP3 files and listen to music that way? Some people collect CDs and listen to music that way. I listen to music mainly on Youtube since it's got many different obscure video game albums and remixes you can't find on Spotify. I also download music since I'm allowed to listen to a MP3 player at work.

I no longer use CDs. There was a time when I used CDs. However, as of now I use YouTube mainly when it comes to listening to songs. Having said that, I do not listen to so gs that often. I am not a really huge fan of Rock music. I certainly do not listen to music when I am posting on forums. Music generally distracts me from what I am doing.

This is my music evolution. I'm old enough to remember vinyl records. Then I met my late husband, and he started buying cassette tapes. We joined a music club and could buy the latest music much cheaper than if we shopped at a music store. Then we switched to CDs. But our CD player broke, and we never replaced it because we discovered YouTube. It has everything! Old school music, new age, classical, smooth jazz, religious music, etc. Amazon Music keeps sending me eMails trying to get me to subscribe, but … I can find most of what I want to listen to on YouTube.

I actually prefer downloading them, this way i can move it to my memory card, and I don't have to worry about my phone space running out, or having to use data before i can access my favorite songs. There are still times i stream some songs though.

I have loads of CDs with music that I have downloaded and even bought. Earlier I had casettes But these days I just go to YouTube and pick what I want to listen. Just this morning I was listening to Jim Reeves

I still buy CDs. After that, I rip everything onto our home server and stream it through Plex. It gives me the convenience of digital access without relying on Spotify or YouTube, and I like knowing I actually own the music. Plus, Plex makes it easy to organize everything and listen anywhere in the house or on the go.

I prefer YouTube for music, its easily accessible on my mobile device. Its got everything, plus simpler user interface, no hassle, just convenience.
