Do You Like Reading Old Books?

Reading books will always be a pleasurable activity. Most people ask, “Have you read any good books lately?” I ask if you've read any “old books” lately.

I love old books. Books that were published decades ago and are still relevant to today's world.

This thread is for “old book” suggestions. (Old book = Published in the year 2000 or before.)

I'll start by suggesting “People of the Lie” by M. Scott Peck, first published in 1983. It was mentioned in a Korean drama, and I checked to see if it was a real book. I figured nobody would give their book a title like that. I was wrong. It's a real book!

I think its content is relevant to today because – I won't name any names, but I think politicians all around the world must have read this book and copied some “examples”.

NO DUH!! The more things change, the more they remain the same.
