What are your go to quick meals? (Not including takeout or fast food)

My GO-TO quick meals are super simple.

RAMEN noodles – If I have veggies like cabbage or diced or shredded meat, I throw that into the pot. Also, now and then, I crack an egg into the boiling broth.

GRITS – Takes 5 minutes on the stove top. I may or may not crack a couple of eggs into the grits. Add salt, black pepper, and butter. That's not optional!

I love to eat nuts. Having said that, I could also have chocolate spread with bread. I really love Nutella chocolate spread. It is one of the best hazelnut chocolate spread with great taste.

Peanut butter and jelly on toast is always easy. But peanut butter has gotten very expensive, so I don't eat it a lot anymore.

Usually a cheese(and sometimes meat) quesadilla or a turkey sandwich.

Making a quick pasta sauce isn’t too complicated and tastes better than bottled/jarred. I love using olive oil, fresh garlic, cherry tomatoes and a can of crushed tomatoes along with freshly picked basil. Some salt at the end for taste and that’s pretty much it. It can be done in 15 minutes.

Now, even though it’s not the best, there are new microwavable pasta packages that will cook in 90 seconds. Goes great with my sauce in a pinch.

I like bagels with cream cheese or a peanut butter and syrup wrap.
