Modern horror movies

Do you watch horror movies? I noticed something about modern horror movies recently. Most horror movies they make these days don't really have deep plots, it's mostly about mindless killings, where the killer kills for no real reason, then they ship in nudity just to make it sell as well. Name a horror movie that actually has good plot?

I think that may people believe that modern movie creators use a lots of CGI and this is why they never tend to focus that much on storyline of the movie. Many modern movies today are inspired by so many novels that were written in the past. They could get some great ideas from the novel, but it is always a good idea to write a unique plot related to the movie.

True but there are still some horror movies with less CGI or even low budget but still have poor storytelling. If feels more like they are becoming too lazy to write a good plot, so they just focus on intense killings on screen.

Horror movies were not my thing. I would only watch if my big sister watched them with me. I was a sacaredy cat. But when I say horror, I'm talking about Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Werewolf. 😃
