If there is something that has always bugged me, it is that people genuinely want cats over dogs as emotional companions. Personally, I think that is not supposed to be the case because cats are ineffective in home security and lazy around, and there I say do absolutely nothing but constantly be sort of like a thorn in the flesh of their owners. Anyway, that is my take. What about y’all
When it comes to companionship I agree dogs are better than cats but when it comes to taking care cats are independent and can look after themselves . In this busy world it is difficult to care for dogs.
I take care of both animals, so I'd say dogs just comply with their owners 100% of time. Whatever the owner wishes, pet dogs follow through. Be it feeding or shower-time, the onus, is purely on the owner. However, cats do have a habit of getting their own way, a successful hunt, a bird, lizard or mice. Less maintenance.
So if you ask me, the real question is, which owners are the best?
Dog owner or cat owners?
I do not think that dogs are necessarily better than cats. I have never owned a dog. However, I must say that cats have different kinds of personalities. Certain kinds of cats are extremely friendly. They will headbutt you all the time and show affection. However, some cats stay aloof. This always depends on the cat. You cannot change the personality of the cat. However, if you own many cats, you will certainly notice that all of them are pretty different from each other.
I guess for dogs, it's like this, some dogs bite some don't. Some are just playful beasts. I got both, (cats& dogs) so just pointing out what's obvious to me.
