Well it depends on your age & medical condition. I too, walk long distances after work a 2-3 days consecutively.

For me, I’m young, I do jogging but at slow pace, for shorter distance, sporadically. With rests in between- that's walking. Then I go again. Pushing slowly. Each day getting stronger. Eventually, I do carve up serious yardage.

However, I cannot stress this out even more but it's really important to reheydrate & have a balanced meals afterwards.

Don’t forget to get the electrolytes (Gatorade) in as they help tremendously to reviltise your body fluids.

I try to go to the gym at least two times a week for an hour or so each time. I’ve built up my upper body strength a bit, and i’m maintaining a steady weight, not the weight i’d like to be, but at least I ain’t gaining.

I see your in control. Yes, so I’m guessing your bulking up. Swole v ripped? I use to prefer ripped but now stepped into a mature swole body type. Remember, not to abandon the lower body.

Otherwise, yes the upper body requires mental strength. It adapts quite fast. The lower body takes commitment, safety & awareness. Do you have separate lower or upper body sessions? Or do you, adjust & rotate training specific body parts?

I do that some times. For swole I do power sessions but also do the bikes & treadmill to keep my lungs healthy. I like CrossFit. I also do swimming & train my breathe underwater.
