Postloop is officially live!

It’s been over a year since Postloop was re-introduced. And after a lot of work behind the scenes, Postloop is now officially live.

This is a fresh start for the platform, with a new system, a new dashboard, and a different way of bringing writers and community owners together.

We’re really happy with where things are right now, but we also want to be realistic about it: Postloop is still a work in progress.

There will probably be a few minor issues that need ironing out along the way. Some parts may change, some things may be simplified, and there are already new features planned for future updates.

Development will continue regularly, especially now that people will actually be using the platform and we can see what works well, what causes confusion, and what could be improved.

A different way of buying content

One of the bigger changes is how content is handled.

Traditionally, services like this tend to work around fixed packages. You buy 20 posts, someone completes those 20 posts, and that’s the end of it.

Postloop works a little differently.

Instead of purchasing a fixed package, you fund your community with credits and open it up to writers. You decide how much activity you want, set daily limits, and writers can contribute as they go.

This makes the whole process more flexible.

You can slow things down, increase your limits, pause activity, or simply let your community grow at a pace that feels natural.

We may still introduce more traditional packages again in the future, especially for people who prefer a simpler one-off option, but nothing is set in stone yet.

It may take a little getting used to

The platform has been built in a way that makes sense to us, but we’re also aware that there’s quite a lot going on inside the dashboard.

For someone opening it for the first time, it may feel a little overwhelming.

To help with that, every page in the dashboard has a circular question mark in the top-right corner. Clicking it gives you a short explanation of what that page does and how it works.

We’ll continue improving those explanations as the platform grows.

And if something still doesn’t make sense, just ask.

We’re always around and happy to help.

This is only the beginning

Launching Postloop doesn’t mean development is finished. Quite the opposite. There are already new features planned, existing parts we may need to improve, and plenty of ideas we still want to explore. Some of those ideas will come from us, but a lot of them will come from the people actually using Postloop.

If something feels awkward, confusing, unnecessary or missing, please let us know.

That feedback is going to play a big part in where the platform goes next.
