Do you think AI will become dangerous to the point of a terminator situation?

With the rapid advancement and push for AI between the world’s super powers, do you think AI will become dangerous to the point of where we might see ourselves in a terminator situation?

Do you think it’ll be able to stay under control so it won’t get to that point? What are your overall thoughts on AI? Personally, I don’t like it, I think it kills jobs from working people and makes PC parts go through the roof cuz of the data centers. I shouldn’t have to pay nearly $6000 for a gaming laptop.
