How did you make your first dollar as a forum owner?

The truth is that it's not all forum owners that want to make money from managing their communities. Some just do it for fun managing people. Those who make money do so through selling of ads space and using monetization tools like Google Adsense.

That first money you earn as a forum owner is very interesting. Mine came from one tiny banner ad deal years ago. It was just $12 but it was like I won a lottery. People think once you open a forum, money starts flowing immediately, but content creation is indeed a serious grind.
