What are some of the things you regret doing in your past?

We all have moments we look back on with regret. A few years ago, I was going through a difficult period and, unfortunately, made some poor decisions that upset several valued friends I had online. In hindsight, it would have been wiser to step away and take some time to reflect rather than allowing the situation to escalate, however as they say time heals.

Even the best of us have our moments! 😶‍🌫️

I asked out a 19-year-old when I was 29, and it caused much confusion and distress between the two of us.

I spent too much money on restaurant food in my 20s.

I’ve let fear, resentment, and other people hold me back from living my life.

I’m sure the list goes on.

I want to say drinking beer.

But it was all the bad stuff I was drinking and taking that eventually led me to the very awesome life I live today.

The only thing I really regret is not talking to my dad more. After suddenly losing him last year, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss him.

We were close, but I hardly texted or called, and he hardly did the same because we both had our own life to live. I should have called and texted more. Maybe I could have helped keep him around longer, but I shouldn’t say that. It’s so easy to blame myself for it.
