GameStop won't add anything to cart...help?

I’ve purchased hundreds of online gift cards before, but wow, GameStop is really making it difficult for me. I’m glad I have a week to figure this out. If anyone has purchased a digital gift card from GameStop using your browser, did it go through? I can’t even get it added to the cart to do the purchase. I created an account, verified the email, and have done all but removed cookies/cache. Any good tips?

Its been a few years since i ordered anything from GameStop but even then it wasn’t a digital digital gift card i ordered.

But i did just now test to see if i could add a Gamestop gift card to the cart and it did seem to work.

Tell me please, before you did add to cart, which browser did you use and did it have a field for your email address?

Yes, there was a field for email, I entered a test email address as i wasnt logged in, but i’m on my tablet right now, firefox browser. It did add to cart though.

Thank you! That’s very helpful. I can’t remember if I even downloaded that browser on my new laptop, but it’s worth doing now. Thank you so much for helping me!

They stole $170 from me, I bought 2 digital gift cards, their site crashed at just the right moment, never got a confirmation, never got the codes, but they took my money, and the bank won’t refund it because they said there was no fraud.

Gamestop blows. Stop giving them business.

That’s awful!! I’ve been reading some really bad things about the site 🙁 I’ll probably send money to my daughter so she can go buy the card in person and give to her roommate for us.

I downloaded Firefox and I still can’t add the GameStop digital gift card so I can purchase it. I can add other gift cards that are available, just not the GameStop one, which is so weird. The only field for email was to sign up for their offers, etc.

Really odd. Is it a certain dollar amount card that isn’t working or just all Ganestop digital gift cards?

All…I’ve tested multiple amounts as well as multiple designs of the cards.

I’m now getting the same thing as you when i try Brave Browser and Firefox on my Desktop PC. It won’t add to cart. That’s odd i wasn’t having the issue on my tablet though. It seems like an issue with their website, but I’ll keep looking into it. In the meantime, if you need it soon, there is a couple other places online that sell them one is called Giftcards.com they do sell Digital GameStop Gift Cards, there is also eGifter.com that also sells them you could try those places, I’ve personally never bought anything from either before however.

I appreciate your time in testing this for me!! I’ve never bought from those other sites and am leery to do so. I have a few other options such as buying a physical card. So, it will work out. Thanks!

I did find out there is a GameStop App for Android and i guess Apple devices too, But you can add a GameStop Digital Gift Card to the cart with the App, that works for me, so there’s that.

I read about the app. I just hate putting more apps on my phone. It seems every business now wants customers to use their app.

Agreed, it’s not ideal, i prefer to use a PC for that sort of stuff myself.
