Forum changes might be bad

Do you think changing the theme, forum layout style, logo, features, and etc. is a great way to freshen up your forum?

Or could it actually be a bad idea because most members don’t like change or don’t want to have to get used to a new process?

In the past, I’ve seen a forum go fairly inactive after a simple theme change. Could it have been that the membership couldn’t tolerate the change?

Maybe it’s worth it to stick with what you first decide on.

What do you all think?

I have older members and they can’t adapt, so changes have to be done very slowly!

hmmmmmmmmmmm i guess they will like my forums.. ’m starting to make more themes, layouts, and more that make the forum look verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry different.

I anticipated this on my first successful forum. I like to give options so when I feel the need to freshen up the design, I just put another theme to select from. I couldn't come to putting a whole new design as the default.
