Live Chat on sidebar

I run across a bug. With the Live Chat / Shoutbox on the side bar the Emoji drop down box gets cut off.

Also not sure if this is a bug or not but when i view my board as a regular member i can still see and post in staff only Live chat channels.

I’m sure you rechecked permissions, but it can’t hurt to look again?

Unless I’m missing something there isn’t a permisson setting to allow members in a Staff only room. It may be just the previewing it as a member part thats the issue, i guess i need to test it with an actual member account to see if it works that way. But if the preview is not working correctly, its probably a bug.

What’s the link to your site and I’ll test it out?

Plus, if you don’t have a regular member test account, it’s probably best to create one. Then you can easily check when you make changes to see if regular members have access or don’t have access to things.

Yeah, i meant to have a setup a regular account, but i hadn’t had time until just now. So it appears it might be a bug in the “preview as this group” when you preview as a member because staff rooms do only show for staff, as it should, when you are actually a regular member.

That along with the Emoji box being cut off when it’s on the sidebar, are both bugs it seems.
