Former Bears Coach Mike Ditka passed away

I am not one to post about celebrities passing, but I actually saw Mike Ditka on the streets of Chicago when I worked there in the 90s!! He was going into the Chicago Tribune Building on Michigan Avenue after exiting his limo! I didn’t realize who it was at first until someone on the street said it out loud. Then I turned around to get a better look!

Ditka coached the Bears in 86 when they won SuperBowl XX. RIP Ditka.
