Do you still add your forum to directories?

Do you think directory links still provide a good way for people to find your forum?

Or do you think directory links are a thing of a the past?

I add my forum to the really big sites when I first create it and then forget to go back and do any updates. For the smaller sites, I like to see if they’re still around in a month before I make the effort to put my site in the Directory.

I still do it out of habit. Whether it does anything or not I don’t know.
