An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

It sounds like such a silly saying, but it somewhat is ironically true - eating an apple a day is a healthy habit that provides good fiber and vitamin C that can give your body that small boost with natural sugar to keep you going in a pinch. I’m sure there are other “super” foods like this, so what are you super foods that you use as a small snack to keep you going but also are healthy in the end?

Nuts are good source of fiber and energy. I really love all different kinds of nuts.

Yes and no—be careful with apples. If you eat too many, you could die. I don’t recall exactly what it is they contain, but an excessive amount of apples will literally kill you. So, it depends; perhaps even one a day is too much. I’d suggest more like one every two days. The key is to include a variety of fruits, rather than sticking to just one kind.

Good old Google to the rescue.

Yes, you can eat too many apples. While apples are packed with nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants, consuming too many can lead to several unpleasant side effects.
