What is your favorite flavor of Mountain Dew? Why is that one your favorite?

Do people really sign up on sites just to troll? Not just forums, but blogs, and social media too? I haven't met anyone in real life who would confess to doing that, so I wonder what that kind of person is like in real life.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

Has there ever been a time where forum drama has affected your mental health and how do you do with it to ensure that it doesn't bring you down? Have you ever had to step aside from a forum because it was affecting your mental health?

What causes you to have a meltdown?

I've found that drama comes along if you work with others, doesn't matter if you work in an office or if you work in retail there's always going to be drama. So what do you do when drama occurs at the workplace? Do you listen to what others are saying, and share your two cents or do you try to ignore it? It's best to try and ignore it of course but sometimes it's hard not to chime in!

These days drama happens in any platforms where users can share their opinion, for instance, social media, discussion board, or forums. Do you see dramas more on social media communities or on forums? Where do you see dramas being nasty, social media or forums?

Thoughts on members saying they’re leaving?

I always tend to think it’s not doing the site any favors and lets others chime in on badmouthing you, and usually it’s only 2 or 3 that have those feelings and not the other 5,000. I’ve been removing those kinds of posts off my Facebook group because they annoy me.

If a member caused so much drama and got banned and in retaliation they decided to clone/copycat your forum how would you handle this? Have you seen this happen before and if so how was it handled?

Do you fly your country’s flag outside your home? Do your neighbors do it?

We’ve never flown the flag and the only ones I’ve owned are the handheld ones that I had for my Girl Scout troop. A few of my neighbors fly it and one keeps his lit, as you’re supposed to do for nighttime.

I'm curious to see what operating systems everyone is using here! I currently dual boot Windows 11 and Ubuntu. I can't ditch Windows all together since there are programs I use that will not work on Ubuntu or any Linux distro. I could attempt to use them in Wine or a virtual machine but since I already dual boot with Windows there's really no reason to do this.

When COVID was going strong, my daughter was in high school.

So, she was at home, on Snap and TickTock and other teenage girls were on it too, belittling each other and spreading rumors.

It got to the point where we threatened to make her delete her socials and told the parents of the bullying kids that we’d call the Sheriff’s Office because internet bullying is a crime. Those parents thought it wasn’t a big deal. Heck there are kids committing suicide over that stuff.

Anyone ever had to deal with that kind of drama?

Luckily, our girl is a good kid and stayed away and blocked people, but she also didn’t want us to constantly monitor her stuff which we were willing to do if forced.

Have you ever been part of a forum that died off but tried to get revived but it took a complete turn and backfired?

For example

• Old admins returning and acting like nothing happened

• Announcements about the revive that get no responses

• Owners and admins wanting to continue things the old way instead of coming up with new ideas

• Members that moved on and don't want to return

My host has been whacked with thousands of AI scraper/crawler bots, to the point it's used 100% of my CPU usage & 83% of my RAM, i've been trying in vein to fix this issue for about a week now and i'm at my wits end.

I'd hate to move away from Xenforo but honestly, with the pricing of VPS hosting and everything else going up, it might be the move. >_<

Let's face it we're all human and we're all going to disagree at some point or another about things. This can definitely cause drama in families especially when hot button topics like politics and religion are brought up at the dinner table. So have you dealt with family drama before and were you able to get over the drama? They say life is too short to keep the drama going, but sometimes it's hard to drop it.

Have you ever had to go to a dermatologist?

It’s been 30 years since I last went to one, and yesterday I had a full exam that lasted like 10 minutes. I had a list of things specifically for her to look at and she examined the entire body. No signs of cancer, so I was relieved! I go back in a year for another full body exam.
