Greetings everyone! Welcome back to AdminBanner. We’ve been online for more than a year, which feels like a pretty good moment to look back, refresh a few things, and start thinking about what comes next.
A fresh look
If you visit the homepage today, you’ll notice it looks completely different.
We’ve rebuilt and redesigned the site from the ground up, with a much clearer focus on what AdminBanner is and what we want it to be. For the new design, we went back to where the original idea came from: the older web, when banner exchanges, webmaster communities and independently run websites were everywhere.
So instead of chasing another clean, flat, modern design, we leaned into that nostalgia a little.
The result is a homepage that feels much more like AdminBanner.
But this update is more than a new coat of paint. The site has been reorganized, cleaned up and made considerably easier to understand, especially for anyone discovering the network for the first time.
Registrations are open again
And with that, we’re opening registrations for new websites again.
If you’ve been thinking about joining AdminBanner, adding another site to the network, or simply giving it another try, now is a good time to jump in.
A new home for the community
Going forward, we’ll also have a brand new AdminBanner forum powered by ForumSpark. We’ve matched the forum theme closely with the main website so it feels like part of the same place rather than something separate.
We’ll use the forum to announce updates, gather feedback and ideas from the community, and give everyone a small place to talk about the websites being showcased across the network.
There’ll also be room for banner design discussion and feedback if you need a second opinion on something you’re working on, along with some light webmaster and off-topic chat.
It’s not intended to become some huge community project. There are other sites more suited for that. It’s simply a place for the people using AdminBanner to interact a little more, share what they’re building, and help us improve the service along the way.
New features came along
There’s a few new features and changes. First off all, running multiple sites now get their own dedicated page. It was unclear in the past, but this has been revised completely. The Discover page shows an Invite as partner button. More about this coming soon. My Network (in Dashboard) shows Where your banner appeared and a dedicated widget for referrals. Earn credits by referring members to AdminBanner. You’ll also notice we have a new banner maker - Easy to use, free of charge and ideal if you don’t have any design skills yourself.
The next chapter
More than anything, this redesign is our way of saying that AdminBanner isn’t going anywhere.
We’re still here, a little older, a little more polished, and ready for the next chapter.
