Instead of traditional bingo numbers, players use bingo cards featuring music-related clues and challenges.

I think I'd love to have Spyro the Dragon or Crash Bandicoot as a friend. Both seem like they’d be pretty fun to hang out with, although I’m not sure how much trouble Crash would get me into!

Hi, I’m Kat. I love music and seeing it on a forum is really outstanding…maybe I should say Hearing it!

I prefer TV ads because I can see what's being advertised. Sometimes radio ads are just too loud, especially when I'm listening to music or a talk show. I also find it easier to tell if a product interests me when I can see it.

What about you? Do you notice radio ads more, or do TV ads catch your attention?

So many stations are claiming that they play "the best music" and "the hottest hits" but from the listeners point of view, every station look the same. They have the same playlist, same adverts, sometimes the same presenters. For me, differences should come from personality and the niche. You should focus on a genre like Afrobeats only, or you only specialize on old school songs. Also, is your listener interaction different? What are you doing differently generally?

So many station owners are tired of managing people that fail to show up. You take your time to hire a DJ, they are dedicated for the first two weeks, then they start to be unprofessional by missing shows and giving all sorts of flimsy excuses and before you know it, they ghost you entirely. Though there are still good DJs out there, but they are not cheap and easy to find. Some station owners prefer to just train rookies that have the passion. So, what are you looking for? And what are you paying?

Radio owners should look for three things – passion, reliability, and personality. Passion because there are very few radios that pay well for starters, so if you don't have the passion, you will quit in no time. Reliability because one missed show can make you lose your listeners permanently. Personality because anybody can play music, but not everybody can keep their audience engaged. He should also understand the niche, that's very important too!

So, DJs, are you still looking for a new station or have you found one that treats you well? Underground, there are so many issues DJs deal with. The station owners that will not pay on time, listeners that are not appreciative, and competition that is very high now. Some DJs move from station to station looking for better pay, others have decided to start their own podcast. So, the good thing is, the internet radio has made things easier, especially to go independent . Who is considering moving?

Authenticity matters a lot because many listeners know when you are not being real. They want to listen and learn from your experiences and if you are faking it, they will know. So, it's very important to be real, consistent, and above all, you should connect with your audience like you are talking to a friend. That kind of interaction is all you need to put your show up there. A lot of radio presenters go unprepared and that matters a lot because knowing your music, your topics, and your timing is of utmost importance. Who is your favorite presenter and why?

Based on what I know , I think the hardest part is consistency. You must show up every day, at the same time, whether you have 5 listeners or 500 or you don't even have active listeners yet, you have to maintain consistency. Another issue is building audience. With the way Spotify, YouTube, and podcasts are competing for attention, to keep people tuned to your live stream is hard. Who is an internet radio DJ here? How do you survive?

Muddys Music Cafe of Second Life

I am going to be listening to Lilrawkers all through this week. Although still expecting @Rogue to add some cool Afrobeats music in the playlist. The songs here keep me focus when I am working, and it does not distract me with ads. But all I all, my listening choice is determined by my mood and the task I am into for that moment.

There are a couple of them but if I have to go with one, then it would be B4B4 by Davido featuring Mayorkun and Fola. I never get tired of that song and it's played everywhere you turn. It's even stuck in my mind already. Very hard to get rid of it. Even when radio stations overplay it, it still sounds unique. Congratulations to Davido on that song.

I know very well that there many radio stations that more people are supposed to know about. I mean, the ones that are playing real music, not the common ones we already know. For me, it's "Radio Garden". It's unlike the traditional station, but it let you tune into local radio from anywhere in the world. So, you can listen to stations in Brazil, Japan, or even a very small town in remote countries.
