Members can post about milestones such as reaching a certain number of members, posts, or threads, celebrating forum or blog anniversaries, launching major updates or new features, hosting special events or themed weeks, or highlighting other positive developments within their communities.

When sharing a milestone, include clear details about the achievement. Explain what milestone has been reached and briefly describe what it means for your community. You may also include relevant links or share any future plans or goals if you wish.

All milestones should be genuine and accurate. Misleading or exaggerated claims about achievements are not allowed, as the purpose of this section is to celebrate real progress.

Each milestone or update should have its own thread. This helps keep discussions organized and makes it easier for members to follow along with each announcement.

The tone of this section should remain positive. It is meant for celebrating growth and progress, so avoid negative commentary about your own community or others.

Replies to milestone posts should also be supportive and encouraging. Members are welcome to congratulate others, offer encouragement, or provide constructive feedback, but dismissive or discouraging comments are not appropriate.

If needed, you may bump your milestone thread once every 24 hours, provided the bump includes a meaningful update rather than a simple bump message.

All posts in this section must follow Spark Promotion’s global rules, and any linked content should be appropriate for a general audience.

The Exchanges & Marketplace is a place where members can swap posts, share services, and take up jobs for forums and blogs. It is a collaborative trading hub where site owners can help each other grow by offering skills, services, and opportunities.

This section is dedicated to exchanges and services such as post exchanges, review exchanges, graphic design assistance, administrative or moderation help, and both paid and unpaid job offers for forums or blogs. Any service-based collaboration between site owners is welcome here.

When creating an exchange or job thread, make sure your post clearly explains what you are offering and what you are requesting in return, if anything. You should also include any requirements, important details, or terms involved in the exchange. When relevant, provide a link to your site or portfolio so members can better understand the offer.

All posts should provide clear and honest information. Be accurate about what you can deliver and avoid misleading offers, hidden terms, or false promises.

If a service or job involves payment, the price or payment method must be clearly stated in the thread. Spark Promotion is not responsible for disputes between members, so all negotiations should be handled carefully and respectfully.

To prevent clutter, members may only have one active thread per unique offer or request at a time. If you need to make changes or provide updates, you can edit or update your existing thread instead of creating a new one.

Respect the time and effort of others. If you agree to participate in an exchange or take on a job, follow through in a timely manner. If something changes, communicate with the other member rather than abandoning the commitment.

You may update your thread with progress reports, updates, or status changes. Thread bumps are allowed once every 24 hours, but they must include meaningful information rather than simple bump messages.

The Peer Review Service exists to provide honest, constructive, and helpful feedback for forums, blogs, and websites. Its purpose is to help creators improve their projects through thoughtful input from the community.

When requesting a peer review, clearly explain what your site is about and what type of feedback you are looking for. Being specific helps reviewers understand what areas you want evaluated so they can focus on the aspects that matter most to you.

Reviewers are encouraged to evaluate elements such as overall design, usability, content quality, structure, features, and community engagement. Reviews should highlight both the strengths of the site and areas where improvements could be made.

All feedback must remain constructive and respectful. Identifying issues is perfectly acceptable, but personal attacks, sarcasm, or dismissive remarks are not allowed. The aim is to support and guide, not criticize harshly.

Honesty is encouraged, but it should always be fair and thoughtful. The purpose of a review is to help a project grow and develop rather than discourage the person who created it.

Whenever possible, reviewers should provide actionable feedback. Explaining why something works well or does not work and offering suggestions for improvement is far more helpful than vague criticism.

Additional Notes: We're looking to see if the community would be interested in having a "book of the month" event. This event will allow the community to vote on a book to read together and then discuss it afterwards.

Forum Spark is an incredible project that truly brings back strong Zetaboards vibes — a platform I genuinely miss. It captures that classic forum feel while adding modern improvements.

Cedric is doing an excellent job developing and maintaining the platform, and Jamie — the original founder — also did an amazing job building the foundation. The progress and effort behind it are impressive.

Setup is straightforward, and both the settings and forum creation process are easy to navigate. I also really like the directory that has been set up for forums using Forum Spark — it adds great visibility and organization for communities.

The only improvement I’d love to see is making theme imports simpler and more accessible. That would make customization even smoother for users.

I’m looking forward to the continued success of the platform and believe it has strong potential to become something on the level of ProBoards.
