Where did you buy your road bike?

I actually bought mine from Bikes Direct online! I had a local shop assemble it and I rode it home (friend dropped me off). You get what you pay for, so it wasn’t a high end bike at all, but I could work on it a bit to help tune it up better and it lasted me for thousands of miles. I think I paid about $400 for mine.

My first bike I ever bought was from Bikes Direct. I still have it and it would still make a great bike.

My first road bike was from a shop called Carbondale Cycle here in Southern Illinois. In fact, all 3 of my road bikes came from there.

Do you like to stick to a certain brand?

I used to.

I only got Trek bikes.

But my latest mountain bike was a Specialized and it’s just as good.
