A lot of people are finding it very difficult to save money. It's not because they don't want to save but because they have too many bills to pay which makes it impossible to have anything meaningful to save after paying for so many expenses.
Do you struggle with saving from your monthly income?
I am a freelancer, I do not have a fixed salary like a job holder. Sometimes I make good amount of money. When that happens, I am able to save 10 percent of my income. However, sometimes I don't earn enough money, even to pay bills, so I end up using my saving. But next time I am able to earn better, I will replenish my saving account.
I save every month in fiat currency and monetary metals. It isn't a lot but better than most Americans right now who are in over their head in credit card debt.
I try my best to save 10% of what I earn and anything over is a good month.
I save about $300 a month, and have 3 months of rent saved up.
I wish I could save more money every month but with a little daughter to take care of without her mother, I'm forced to save less. I struggle to save 5% to 10% of my monthly earnings.

That's a bummer but 5% is still better than nothing and better than most, lots of people live on credit.

Yes, I know so many people are finding it very difficult to save while some people are deep in debt. At least, I'm happy for not having any debt to pay for and still being able to save 5% of my earnings every month. I'm grateful.
I haven’t been able to save any. The issue for me isn’t because I don’t have any left - I need to put my mindset right with savings. It is just so much easier to go down to the local cafe. If me and my partner were to make a plan to go travel though (Even around New Zealand) we can save though.

I will sometimes have to dip into savings because I'm not paying attention to how much I'm eating out. 😆
