Have you seen the horror version of Pride and Prejudice? I wasn't thrilled with it at first, but the next time I watched it, it kind of grew on me.
I've not seen it.
I'm kinda leaning towards reading the book first.

The book would be a lot better. I think the imagination will do it more justice than the film crew could do. The acting was okay, but it still wasn't spectacular.

I had heard of it but I wanted to read the original book first.
That's always been something I've done. I'll read the book first, then I watch any movies or tv shows based on the book after.
Have the books always been better, in your opinion?

99% of the time, yes.
But I realize that's just my opinion. It's extremely rare for me to like the movie better than the book.
