Biggest changes from the film series to TV series?

What do you think are some of the biggest changes from the film series to the TV series? I would say one of the biggest ones is the casting of Snape which still divides a lot of fans. I'm keen to see what the new guy brings to the role though.

Favorite actors from the films

Who were some of your favorite actors from the films? My all time favorite was Alan Rickman but I also loved Michael Gambon.

Is there any characters you think someone else should've played?

"The House at the Edge of Magic"

I finished reading this and thought I'd share. This is a good book to read for the kiddos (or something you can read out loud to your kids, if you enjoy doing so). This book was fun and whimsical. My favorite character is Nine.....she's smart and tough. She's the kind of person you can get behind. I'd like to see what they do with the rest of the books in this series.

Synopsis: Nine is an orphan pickpocket determined to escape her life in the Nest of a Thousand Treasures. When she steals a house-shaped ornament from a mysterious woman's purse, she knocks on its tiny door and watches it grow into a huge, higgledy-piggeldy house. Inside she finds a host of magical and brilliantly funny characters, including Flabberghast – a young wizard who’s particularly competitive at hopscotch – and a hideous troll housekeeper who’s emotionally attached to his feather duster. They have been placed under an extraordinary spell, which they are desperate for Nine to break. If she can, maybe they can offer her a new life in return…

The Lord of the Rings

Do you enjoy the multiple Lord of the Rings movies/shows? Do you feel they adapt well from the books? I'm excited not only for the new Gollum movie but Stephen Colbert and his son are working on an LOTR project and it can't be in any better hands considering how much of a fan he is.

Can you read in a noisy environment?

I guess that there are those who won't mind reading in a place that is quite noisy. No matter how noisy the place is, they are still able to assimilate whatever they've read. Are you that type of person?

"How to Survive a Horror Story"

I've finished reading this book today and I thought I'd share. This is a good book to read for Halloween if you're a true fan of horror and are not squeamish. I stayed hooked from beginning to end with this book and the ending was really good. I expect great things in the future from this author if there is more where that came from. If you like haunted house books but are looking for something different then look no further......

https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1749661940i/219542927.jpg

Synopsis: When legendary horror author Mortimer Queen passes, a group of writers find themselves invited to his last will and testament reading expecting a piece of his massive fortune. Each have their own unique connection to the literary icon, some known, some soon to be discovered, and they've been waiting for their chance to step into the author’s shoes for some time.

Instead, they arrive at his grand manor and are invited to play a game. The rules are simple, solve the riddle and progress to the next room. If they don’t, the manor will take one of them for itself.

You see, the Queen estate was built on the bones of Mortimer’s family, and like any true horror story, the house is still very, very hungry.

With the clever, locked-room thrills of Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone with the ghostly horror of The Fall of the House of Usher, How to Survive a Horror Story is a bright, biting, thrill-ride that begs us to contemplate how the best horror stories come to be.

Spotify Audiobooks

If you sign up to a paid premium plan for Spotify you get 15 hours of free audiobooks per month. It might not seem like much but I personally have never exceeded that.

I think it's a great deal especially if you already use Spotify for music.

Do you take advantage of this on Spotify?

David Walliams

David Walliams is one of my favorite children book authors. A few of his books have been turned into movies.

Sadly he has a habit of saying the wrong things at the wrong time so his book contract is currently suspended. He also got taken off being a judge on Britain's Got Talent for saying some real risky things.

He's one of my favorite comedians as well. I love Little Britain.
