The forum overhaul and the three scans overs are finished (still need to go over it a few more times because I notice avatars not working across the forums), and every fix from them is in. It isn't deployed. The full suite of 410 tests passes, PHPStan reports 0 errors, Pint is clean and npm run build is done. I checked the guest-facing forum pages live in the browser.
Uploads and the post flow
Nobody can upload a file from their computer to the forums any more. Post images are [img]https://…[/img] links, up to 10 per post, and links to private or internal addresses are refused.
Avatars: profile photos are now set by pasting an https link. Photos members already uploaded still display.

Suggestions of similar topics while you type a title.

A poll builder (2–10 options, closes after 1–30 days, single or multiple choice).

Fixed after the scans
Members-only forums leaked through search, tag pages, member profiles, "related threads", the forum index last-post column and announcements. All are now filtered. The report button no longer works on posts you can't see.
Private messages now get the word filter and the image rules, block banned members, and stop brand-new held accounts starting conversations. They also no longer load remote pictures, since a sender-hosted image could tell them when and where a message was opened. Double-clicking send no longer creates duplicates.
Points: Community Points turn into money off orders, so I capped forum earning at 100 points per member per day. You can change the cap in ACP → Settings (0 turns forum earning off). Un-reacting now only takes back a point that was actually paid.
Bugs:
Member profile pages crashed with a 500 when a topic they'd posted in was deleted.
Held replies counted as replies and could show as the last post.
Deleting a reply bumped the topic to the top of the list.
You could mark an unapproved post or the opening post as the answer.
Approving a held topic credited only one post and told no one. It now credits every post released, notifies the author and notifies the forum's followers.
The approval queue listed a topic's opening post a second time.
Announcing a topic overwrote its type, so a question stopped being a question.
Smaller fixes:
Forum search has its own rate limit, separate from the shop's.
The unread markers are worked out in one query per page instead of one per topic, with a screen-reader label.
The Follow button now shows Following.
Forum rules keep their line breaks.
Posts created in the same second keep a stable order across pages.
Also fixed the error what gizmo spotted.
