Treatment for a cold?

For the first time in years, I’ve caught a cold! I’m not used to this misery. Because the covid vaccines ruined me and now I’m severely allergic to polyethylene glycol, I have to be very careful with what medicines I take. I did find a cough syrup today that didn’t have PEG in it and my husband went out to buy it for me right away. It seems to have helped for just a bit. Hopefully I can sleep tonight.
