Have ever used Temu?

Heatman · 2 weeks ago · 18 replies · 276

Lately, Temu have been my favorite online shopping platform. I order almost everything I want and they get shipped from China to my house free of charge.

Have you ever used Temu? What's your experience like?

I've used Temu in the past and it's nice for things that come handy for everyday use. However, ever since the EU has introduced massive taxes, and plans to introduce a second tax that will be used to pay for the administration of the first tax, I've stopped using it. I now have to look whether the same item is being sold locally cheaper, but unfortunately most of the time it isn't.

Used Temu lots of times. Some stuff turns up and it’s crap, but it’s handy for stuff like halloween or xmas where its one off stuff.

I’m not a fan of Temu products, as most of them are poor quality, except for items like clothing or tablecloths.

I’ve never used it. My sister has and is really pleased with a lot of things she’s purchased. I try to stick with Amazon (which is probably the same sellers) and look for good deals before I buy.

I bought a few bootleg games and systems on Temu, I knew what I was getting so I wasn’t upset. I find bootlegs to be hilarious which is why I bought some from Temu.

My partner and parents use it but I don't.

No, but I’ve watched several YouTube videos, and the vast majority showed positive results from shopping on Temu; the products actually seem good—or rather, good considering the price. The downside is the shipping; sometimes it’s quick, but other times it takes forever.

I have never used Temu before. I have heard mixed reviews about this platform,m, and I don't really know what to believe anymore.

It’s the same for me; the only way is to buy and try things out in person, since there are videos that speak very highly of Temu and others that speak very poorly of it. I understand that the quality can vary—it might be great or terrible depending on the product—but opinions on Temu seem really divided.

I have used Temu a couple of times, and the experience was not so good. They are not transparent about the products they display on their site.

I have never used it, I have heard about Temu but have not even checked it. I mostly used Daraz, it is regional ecommerce site operated by Alibaba group. Sometimes I also buy from social sites, mostly facebook and Instagram

Temu is very good. I've used it a couple of times and all the items I paid for were very good. If shopping, read the description of the products before ordering. It's why many people end of paying for trash.

There’s a free return option. You are guaranteed that you’ll get your money back if something doesn’t fit the description. I’ve had a situation like that only twice. I was pretty happy with the service, but taxes made it way too expensive.

My mom buys EVERYTHING on Temu. It’s actually really annoying because she’ll send me links to click so that she can earn free things. Or something. 😆 But also there can be some good stuff. But uh… one Christmas, she bought a plethora of rubber duckies rofl

I have in the past used Temu to buy items that I know I have a use for, and that I know I couldn’t find cheaper anywhere else.

I live in the UK, so I know that it would still be quite cheap to buy products from Temu should I need to, but as of now, I have not needed anything for a while that I could buy on Temu.

Nope, never had a reason to.

Cory · 17 hours ago

I’d rather use eBay or Amazon that I have used countless times.

Hocuspocus · 17 hours ago

I’ve never ordered from Temu. I usually stick to eBay and Vinted. What sort of things have you bought from there?
